Focus Softens Circles is a gallery intervention that aims to enrich and complicate the experience of both artist and audience through formalized dialogue, using the conventional forms of the survey and the focus group.  The piece uses these forms to provide a generally understood framework for artist and audience to engage in conversations during the exhibition without the potential risks of nebulously established social interaction.
